CONCESSIONS INTERNATIONAL APPROVED FOR MAJOR PACKAGE AWARD AT HARTSFIELD-JACKSON ATLANTA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Company will introduce exciting new brands to the airport, but some popular local brands will lose out.

ATLANTA - January 3, 2012 - Concessions/H&H, Joint Venture has been awarded a contract for Concourse B at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.  Concessions/H&H, Joint Venture, is a partnership between Concessions International (CI), a leading airport food and beverage operator, and H&H Hospitality, Inc., the owners and operators of Café Circa in Atlanta's Old Fourth Ward district.

"We feel fortunate to have been one of the four major concessionaires selected to operate at the airport," said Donata Major, CI's Vice Chair. "We are pleased that we will be able to maintain the airport presence of some of Atlanta's most well-known brands like Paschal's and Proof of the Pudding.  And, we are very excited to have the opportunity to introduce local favorites Twist by Chef Tom Catherall, Willy's Mexicana Grill, Fresh to Order (f2O), Gabriel's Desserts, and Little Azio Pizza & Pasta as well as the innovative Latina-owned brand Lotta Frutta, to visitors from around the world."

The proposal approved by the City Council as recommended by Mayor Kasim Reed's administration, however, does not include two of the airport's current popular brands, which Concessions/H&H, Joint Venture proposed for other Concourses.  "We are disappointed that the airport will lose two of its most popular local brands; Atlanta Bread Company and Sweetwater Draft House, with whom we have enjoyed successful partnerships" said Anthony Joseph, President of CI. "We are also disappointed that we will not be able to introduce compelling new regional brands like Paula Deen's Kitchen to airport travelers."

CI has built itself into a leading concessionaire over its 33 year history, and currently has locations in major airports around the country, including Denver, Detroit, Miami and Seattle.  Atlanta's contract award will maintain the company's significant presence in the world's busiest airport and its hometown.

An essential part of the vision of Concessions/H&H, Joint Venture for Concourse B is the conversion of the central food court into a warm and unique dining destination, created by award-winning firm tvs design, reflecting the company's unique commitment to Southern Hospitality.
